Location was perfect, right next to bayou. Street closed for winter festival. Room was clean but run down. Shower was new. Rest of room needed a coat of paint. Linens and towels worn and thin. Bed comfortable. Lots of hot water. Felt safe in area. Didn't notice any illegal activities or shady characters. Other occupants seemed to be workers.

This place is a DUMP! I don’t know how it had a 7 star rating! Our son booked this on line for us, we got in late and realized he had booked a smoking room,the smell was so bad that they gave us a can of spray,bathroom door had holes punched in it! We didn’t dare walk on the carpet in our sock feet! Bathroom tub had rust spots in it! Drywall ceiling seams were coming apart! This place needs a bull dozer ran through it!

We stayed at the Tarpon Shores Inn after our planned stay at a local Airbnb was found to be wanting, so after flying over to Tampa from the UK and driving around we were pleased to find the hotel and more importantly Marty who showed us our room and was full of advice about the area, we ended up staying for 2 nights and found the room to be what we required, it was clean the bed was super comfy, yes it’s a little dated but for what you are paying for a night stays, it’s a bargain. Thank you Marty for your help.

I stay at motels when I travel as much as possible so that’s how I chose Tarpon Shores Inn and it was close to the event I was attending. Nothing fancy about the place, but nothing really bad to say either. Desk clerk had the personality of a wall but not rude just not happy with life I guess, we are all entitled to that. Room typical motel setup except the parking was away from the rooms where I was staying so if I were on the Harley, would not be conducive to load and unload the bike. Room was dated, but clean. Had microwave, fridge and coffee maker and very small 24” TV on the wall. No iron or blow dryer if that’s important for you. Air was ice cold and bed was clean just kinda worn out. Paid 168 (it’s season and a weekend night) through *******. It’s a $100 a night at best but it is what it is. Probably choose another location if I return to this area

We are hotel evaluators So here is the scoop If your a tightwad this is your place Pros Location close to restaurants Price-99.00 booked through Priceline Cons Employees on the grounds were constantly arguing and using MFs and GDs Bed had to hole in it like an elephant had slept in it Place is fairly clean but very dated No restaurant
